AI at The Horizon, plainly explained
- How does Compass use AI?
- Compass is an optional AI-assisted layer for reflection. It helps you notice patterns across your Atlas, connect Pathways, ask better questions and revisit earlier reflections. It is not an oracle or an authority, and it does not decide anything for you.
- Does AI calculate the astrology?
- No. Astronomical and astrological calculation is deterministic and kept entirely separate from generative AI. AI never computes positions, aspects or timings — it only helps you reflect on what the calculation already produced.
- Can I use The Horizon without AI?
- Yes. Self-guided navigation and the analog tools of the Observatory are central to the method, not a downgrade. Technology is an invitation, not a requirement.
